Festool to Restorer Hose Adapter (Twist-Lock) – Free 3D Print STL Download

Feb 27, 2026

If you want a cleaner workspace while sanding and restoring, dust extraction makes a huge difference. This Festool-to-Restorer hose adapter (Twist-Lock style) lets you connect a Festool dust extractor hose directly to the RESTORER tool using a 3D-printable part.

The file is shared with permission courtesy of Pat Lap, and you can download it free and print your own.

What this Festool-to-Restorer hose adapter does

  • Connects a Festool dust extractor hose to the RESTORER dust port
  • Designed for a secure twist-lock style fit
  • Helps reduce airborne dust and keeps cleanup easier

Compatibility

RESTORER

Compatible with all RESTORER models (same dust port across models).

Festool

Festool uses a few hose sizes and connector styles depending on the system and accessories. This adapter is intended for the common Festool tool-end twist/lock style connector used on many dust extraction setups.

TPU print settings (safe starting point)

Every printer is a little different, but these settings are reliable “first print” defaults for TPU:

  • Material: TPU
  • Layer height: 0.20 mm (0.24 mm is fine for faster prints)
  • Infill: 25–40% (higher infill = stiffer part)
  • Walls/Perimeters: 3–4
  • Top/Bottom layers: 4–6
  • Supports: Try no supports first; add minimal supports only if your slicer flags overhangs
  • Fit tuning: If fit is slightly tight/loose, try ±1–2% scaling in your slicer

Tip: If you want the adapter to feel firmer, increase walls and infill before changing anything else.

How to use it

  1. Download the ZIP and open the STL in your slicer
  2. Print in TPU using the settings above
  3. Test-fit gently on the Festool hose end and the RESTORER port
  4. If needed, tune fit with a small scale adjustment (±1–2%)

FAQ

Will this fit my Festool hose?
It’s designed around the common Festool tool-end twist/lock style connector shown in the photos. If your hose end looks different, send us a photo and we’ll help confirm before you print.

Why TPU instead of PLA?
TPU is flexible and far less likely to crack. It also tolerates small fit differences better than rigid plastics.

Do I need supports?
Most users can print without supports, but it depends on your slicer and printer. If supports are required, use minimal supports only where needed.
